I am a 30 year old Legal Secretary who recently took a Motorcycle driving class with TOPGUN MOTORCYCLE SCHOOL. My instructor Kurk Dugas, introduced this drink to me. It was about 102 degrees outside and having to wear biker boots and a helmet for class it got pretty hot. I drink Propel Powder packets in my water everyday, and it only make you thirsty all the time. This drink cools you down so fast and I could not believe how much of it I drank and did not have a bloat feeling. Anthoner thing about this drink was the flavor it was different but great! Thanks, Donna Bordelon

How Does It Compare?

According to Dr. Robert Whang MD, Professor at The University of Hawaii:

"Commonly available sports drinks like Gatorade, Allsport, and PowerAde are less than optimum for rehydration purposes because they contain no magnesium." Max Hydration ingredients include Magnesium which is a vital component in the synthesis of ATP (the body's main energy source), DNA, RNA and protein, and are required for proper nerve conduction, muscle contraction, cell division, and transport across cell membrane. Magnesium loss during strenuous exercise can be quite considerable and are accompanied by significant loss of potassium as well. There is also evidence that a magnesium deficiency can interfere with the reuptake of potassium after dehydration. In comparison the popular sports drink Gatorade contains 110 mg of sodium, 30 mg of potassium, and leading sports drinks contain no magnesium.
