My wife and I are 80 years of age and in pretty good health, considering. We have always been active and I continue to be and work hard almost daily. My wife had been suffering with leg cramps (charley horses) for a long time, sometimes having three (3) in one night. These occurred at night, always. Needless to say, these woke her up as they are painful and she would have to rub her leg and walk to completely get relief. We heard about your product, contacted you, and tried a 10 pack. Mixed the pack in 16 ounces of water and drank it, 8 ounces at a time. She had only one leg cramp the first night. Continued drinking this formula, daily, but 4 ounces twice daily and have been drinking it this way since. She has had only two attacks in this entire time from July 3, 2009, to date. I don’t use your product on a regular regimen as my wife does but use it regularly when working hard and getting tired. I can take a break while drinking 8 oz. and can feel my energy come back. This is especially good when working in the heat and feeling thirsty. Needless to say, we’re sold on your product and will continue using it as we think keeping the medicinal level up is the success of the product. We purchased a 50 pack box and will soon have to acquire more. We’ve told several people of this and authorize you to use this letter as a testimonial to your product.

How Does It Compare?

According to Dr. Robert Whang MD, Professor at The University of Hawaii:

"Commonly available sports drinks like Gatorade, Allsport, and PowerAde are less than optimum for rehydration purposes because they contain no magnesium." Max Hydration ingredients include Magnesium which is a vital component in the synthesis of ATP (the body's main energy source), DNA, RNA and protein, and are required for proper nerve conduction, muscle contraction, cell division, and transport across cell membrane. Magnesium loss during strenuous exercise can be quite considerable and are accompanied by significant loss of potassium as well. There is also evidence that a magnesium deficiency can interfere with the reuptake of potassium after dehydration. In comparison the popular sports drink Gatorade contains 110 mg of sodium, 30 mg of potassium, and leading sports drinks contain no magnesium.

Summary: MaxHydration is the missing component which is essential to electrolyte replacement and vitamin supplement needs. MaxHydration is the most appropriate fluid choice, because it contains the desired lower sodium, higher ppotassium, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, and the essential electrolyte magnesium, a vital component in the synthesis of ATP, the body's main energy source.
